Subject: will plugn'play internet work on windows NT?
Hi All,
I am trying to run Plug'n Play Internet on windows NT. I have
encountered several problems.
First I tried to invoke tcpman and got this message "Call To
undefined Dynalink.". I renamed winsock.dll in e:\winnt\system32,
and copied windows3.1 version winsock.dll from c:\net to
e:\winnt\system32 (c: has all the DOS and windows3.1 files, and E:
has winnt files). This time tcpman started ok, then I started
wnqvtwsk.exe. It still appeared ok. Then I started telnet session
(tnstart.exe with HOME as parameter). I got application fault error on
wnqvtwsk. if I restart wnqvtwsk then tnstart, I got a different error
message (I don't remember the exact contents - has something to do
with can't start the same session twice).
I appreciate your help.
Paul

Walker, Richer, & Quinn sell 2 commercially available vt style
emulators that include kermit/x/zmodem file transfer support over a variety
of transports, including telnet. Version 4.1 of these products are shipped
with a winsock compliant telnet dll that has been test over most winsock
implementations. For more information send email to support@wrq.com. Hope this
helps.
